From its founding as KAPONO Red Road to it rebirth in 2021, Pōhaku Pelemaka has been laying a pelemaka (raw) foundation along the coast of Puna - protecting ʻāina, supporting ʻohana, growing kaiaulu (community), and transimitting knowledge across generations.
